Quinta Bonita is conveniently located just outside Lagos, close to the N125 road which runs the length of the Algarve from Sagres to Spain.

Below are some simple instructions on how to reach Quinta Bonita. If you need any help finding us, please call us on +351 282 762135.

From Lagos

The journey should take you about 7 minutes (4km).

  1. In Lagos, drive along the main thoroughfare - the Avenida das Descobrimentos.
  2. Keep the canal and the Marina on your left and follow the signs to Sagres. This road is the N125.
  3. Continue on the N125 past the Boa Vista Golf Resort on your left and then a roundabout which is under construction with the turn off to Praia da Luz on your left.
  4. Continue straight on over the half-built roundabout for about 200 metres.
  5. You will see several white walls on the hill to your right, turn off the main road immediately after the overtaking sign to your right and immediately turn left to follow the road along the wall which runs parallel to the main road until you come to the end of the wall and a steep road leading up the hill to the right. Quinta Bonita is half way up the hill.

From Faro airport

The journey should take you about 55 minutes (85km).

  1. From Faro airport take the dual carriageway N125 in the direction of the A22 (also known as IP1, Via Infante de Sagres).
  2. Remain on the N125 for approx 9km following the blue signs for Espagna/Lisboa and the A22.
  3. After another 2km and after passing the Estadio do Algarve (football stadium), turn off onto the A22 direction Portimao/Lisboa. Remain on the A22 for approximately 45 minutes. Go past all the junctions (including the A2 exit 10 to Lisboa) until Exit 1 Lagos/Vila do Bispo.
  4. Come off at Exit 1 Lagos West and at the second large roundabout where the motorway meets the N125, turn right (signs indicating Lagos to left and Sagres to right).
  5. Continue on the N125 past the Boa Vista Golf Resort on your left and then a roundabout which is under construction with the turn off to Praia da Luz on your left.
  6. Continue straight on over the half-built roundabout for about 200 metres.
  7. You will see several white walls on the hill to your right, turn off the main road immediately after the overtaking sign to your right and immediately turn left to follow the road along the wall which runs parallel to the main road until you come to the end of the wall and a steep road leading up the hill to the right. From Lisbon

The journey should take you about 2.5 hours (300km). 

  1. You will be travelling down from Lisbon to the Algarve on the A2.
  2. Continue to the end where the A2 meets the A22 which is the main motorway along the Algarve. You will need to pay a toll here. Be sure to turn West in the direction of Portimao.
  3. Remain on the A22 for approx 15/20 minutes past all the junctions until Exit 1 Lagos West. Come off here and at the second large roundabout the motorway meets the N125. Turn right (signs indicating Lagos to left and Sagres to right)
  4. Continue on the N125 past the Boa Vista Golf Resort on your left and then a roundabout which is under constructin with the turn off to Praia da Luz on your left.
  5. Continue straight on over the half-built roundabout for about 200 metres.
  6.
